About Us
FLYWERX was created as an innovative and holistic approach to Veteran resilience in ways that are tried and tested in our personal lives. We are an official 501(c)(3) bringing the world of outdoor professional careers to Veterans through a dynamic environment designed to create a high rate of return for all participants interested. These pathways provide a unique, healthy, stimulating, and rewarding vertical environment for Veterans who desire a role in the outdoor industry. Providing participants the opportunity to find value, pride, and a sense of purpose in a future career provides hope, meaning, and inclusion in something bigger than one's self, which Veterans often struggle to find when they leave the military.
Our primary goal is to provide Veterans the opportunity to become Professional Fly fishing Guides, Lodge Managers, and Lodge Workers within the International Fly fishing Industry. Furthermore, participants are paired with and backed by certified peer support Veterans for their tenure with FLYWERX. Building upon the professionalism, experience, and skill sets gained during their military service, Veterans make excellent, dependable, and hardworking guides.

Your donation to FLYWERX will directly support our mission of helping Veterans find job placement in the outdoor industries. Donations go directly to our "Sponsor a Veteran" concept, which allows funds to be placed directly towards educational opportunities, such as Guide School. Upon graduating from one of our courses, sponsors will receive a personalized certificate of the graduate along with a bio of their service and future goals.
